AI & Data Usage
How Miror uses connected account data to build personalized AI while protecting your privacy.
This page is maintained by Miror to answer common questions about AI and data usage in the Miror service.
Our Philosophy
Miror exists to build a personalized AI assistant around each individual or organization. Connected data is used only to provide the services requested by the user.
Connected Accounts
Users may connect services including:
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft 365
- Slack
- GitHub
- Dropbox
- Notion
- Calendars
- Email providers
- Cloud storage
- CRM platforms
- Other supported integrations
Users explicitly authorize every connection.
How AI Uses Connected Data
AI may use authorized data to:
- Understand context
- Search user information
- Draft emails
- Draft documents
- Organize files
- Schedule meetings
- Build workflows
- Automate repetitive tasks
- Personalize recommendations
- Improve the user's own assistant
What AI Never Does
Miror does not:
- Sell user data
- Share data with advertisers
- Build advertising profiles
- Use customer data for marketing
- Access services users have not connected
- Access information beyond granted permissions
AI Model Training
- Connected account data is never used to train shared or foundation AI models.
- Connected account data is only used to personalize that user's own assistant.
- Third-party AI providers are used only to process user requests and are not permitted to train their models using customer data.
Google Workspace Data
When users connect Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Docs, or Google Sheets, Miror accesses only the permissions explicitly granted by the user and only to provide requested functionality.
Miror's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
User Control
Users can:
- Disconnect integrations
- Revoke OAuth permissions
- Delete imported data
- Delete memories
- Delete workflows
- Delete their account
Transparency
Miror believes users should always know:
- What data is accessed
- Why it is accessed
- How it is used
- How long it is retained
- How it can be deleted
Users remain in control of their data and connected accounts at all times.
